Pepper
Pepper was born around July in 2016. She was around 2 to 3 weeks old when we adopted her. Pepper is a boss cat. She is the manager of this house. She has a tight schedule she needs to adhere to and loves to eat snacks. She keeps me company and is my primary cat companion. Pepper is a tuxedo cat. Tuxedo cats are the best kind and are known to be very high quality. JK she’s super OCD and bossy but this is how a cat is supposed to be so that’s good news. Pepper is my empty-nest cat. We got her about a month after Zoe ran away because we only had one lonesome cat left. That’s no good. So Sox raised Pepper. Sox was a sweet cat UNTIL she met Pepper. It was disgust at first site. But, Pepper copy-catted Sox and learned all the catty tricks she knows. Hopefully, Pepper will be with us a long time. She is a very good cat.
Apple Scruff
Apple is the youngest of our cats. She came into our life in Dec 2021. Stephen and Donut found her in a cemetary in Yuma, AZ. She was very underweight and we had the vet visit us a couple of times to get her in shape. Apple was very small when we got her and we didn’t know if she’d make it. She had all of her teeth so she was older than she seemed as well. We found her in the flower box of a grave near the grave of Jimi el Gato so at first we called her Jimi. But, then she turned out to be a girl and she started growing all this wild hair so she turned into Apple Scruff (like the George Harrison song) and then she became Apple. She is very skittish of sounds and strangers and she doesn’t meow she chirps or barks. She’s very vocal and knows what she wants. We think she is part Siberian because of her barrel shaped build, long ruff and chirpy vocalizations. She is a very good cat.
