Meet the Kitties
Pepper
Pepper was born around July in 2016. She was around 2 to 3 weeks old when we adopted her. Pepper is a boss cat. She is the manager of this house. She has a tight schedule she needs to adhere to and loves to eat snacks. She keeps me company and is my primary cat companion. Pepper is a tuxedo cat. Tuxedo cats are the best kind and are known to be very high quality. JK she’s super OCD and bossy but this is how a cat is supposed to be so that’s good news. Pepper is my empty-nest cat. We got her about a month after Zoe ran away because we only had one lonesome cat left. That’s no good. So Sox raised Pepper. Sox was a sweet cat UNTIL she met Pepper. It was disgust at first site. But, Pepper copy-catted Sox and learned all the catty tricks she knows. Hopefully, Pepper will be with us a long time.
Zoe Isabella
Zoe is the oldest of our cats. We got her as a pet for our house while the kids were still living with us. We never really had a pet beyond a hamster or turtle. We got her at a shelter in Fargo and her slave name was Smudge. I think Piers named her and then I named her so she ended up with two new slave names Zoe Isabella. Zoe, our oldest cat, joined us around 2009 from a Fargo shelter. No one knows how old Zoe really is. In 2016 Zoe made a run for it. She disappeared for around 4 months maybe more. She got picked up by the police and they posted her on the website. We picked her out of a line-up and went and bailed her out of the shelter. We already got a new cat by the time we got her back. They found her two blocks from the house. Recently, despite a near-death experience, she’s thriving with a sudden, voracious appetite.
